Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Kubernetes Administrator, you will primarily focus on administering and supporting the OpenShift Container Platform ecosystem for the organization on premise. This includes managing container tenant provisioning, isolation, and capacity.

Responsibilities:
Kubernetes Enterprise implementation and support.
Exposure to containerization, the Docker project, Kubernetes.
Good Understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Monitor and maintain the health of cluster.
Configure authentication and authorization.
Upgrade/Update of Kubernetes clusters.
Manage nodes and pods.
Manage users and roles.
Troubleshooting the Kubernetes issues.
Configure and manage Pod networking.
Configure and deploy Kubernetes Enterprise master hosts.
Configure and deploy worker node (Scale In/Out).
Manage Kubernetes resources.
Enterprise application deployment.
Good understanding of the ITSM concepts and detailed hands-on work experience on the Transition, Production support activities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Expertise with the Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, Storage, CNI.
Expertise with Kubernetes Administration, Upgrades, Scale In/Outs.
Expertise in RedHat Linux administration.
Expertise working with Docker or similar container technologies.
Experience with cloud PAAS/IAAS technologies.
Experience working with infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform
Experience in Infrastructure provisioning, monitoring and Ops.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Hands on experience on Kubernetes cluster administration.
Self-motivated to identify and correct operational issues.
You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative. design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies.
Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work.
Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management.
Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications.
