Your Role and Responsibilities

Familiarity with a scripting language such as Perl and Unix/Linux/Shell.
Familiarity with DB2 Pure scale cluster infrastructure; storage management on IBM cloud is a plus.
Familiarity with Linux server configuration and management activities.
Manage DB objects changes and data migration.
Create/manage automation scripts in Linux server.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

DB2 LUW physical and logical database knowledge with strong communication knowledge to understand and execute client requirements.
At least 5 years’ experience in DB2 Linux /Windows relational database work.
Strong knowledge base of relational database performance and tuning” Analyse performance issues and improve the performance (DB configure, DBM configure, procedure improvement, SQL improvement etc.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Administration of DB2 database mostly physical DBA logical DBA skills would be added advantage.
