We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst with 1 to 2 years of experience in the Hydrocarbon industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, advanced Excel, Power BI, and the ability to derive actionable insights for management. This role requires excellent presentation and communication skills to effectively translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets from various sources within the Hydrocarbon industry to support business decision-making processes.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI and advanced Excel to present key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics.
• Insight Generation: Analyze trends and patterns in data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to management, aiding in strategic planning and operational efficiency.
• Presentation: Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and presentations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and management, to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend changes to enhance data quality, reporting accuracy, and overall analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE) or a related field.
• Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience in the Hydrocarbon industry with a focus on analytics and data insights.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to work with large data sets, use complex formulas, and create pivot tables.
• Familiarity with data analysis techniques and tools.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
• Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills, with the ability to create and deliver compelling presentations to management and stakeholders.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in data-driven decision-making within the Hydrocarbon industry.
• Familiarity with other data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, etc.).
• Knowledge of the Hydrocarbon industry’s operational and business processes.
