- Coordination with suppliers and inhouse manufacturing teams for inspection planning, organisiing resources, coordination with third-party inspection agencies as and when required, ensuring timely conduct of inspections and submission of quality documents.
- Conducting inspection of raw materials (product categories including sheet metal, castings, forgings, in-process and final inspections of components and assemblies, non-destructive tests, surface preparation and painting inspections, functional and performance tests.
- Preparation of inspection and test plans (ITPs), inspection procedures, ensuring their effective implementation for internal manufacturing as well as at suppliers, maintaining quality documentation as per ITP.
- Capturing product and process non-conformances, collaborating with cross-functions for driving resolution and root-cause analysis, implementation of corrective actions.
- Developing training modules on inspection methods, imparting knowledge sharing sessions and spread awareness on best practices for continual improvement.
