Job Description

Overall project management across multiple sites for: Managing the preparation work, kickoff and coordination with the site lead and the project engineer to properly evaluate current site conditions and what is needed to get site up to latest standards Working with the project engineers and project coordinator to ensure proper design leads to accurate Bill of Material, leading to correct parts being shipped to site Managing the installation and/ or reconnection and/ or upgrade of relevant M&D equipment once parts are at site, or done remotely if no parts are needed Ensuring all project documentation including drawings, Purchase Orders, and other project files are properly closed and documented Resolving issues with all parties, whether supplier issues, customs import/export issues, site issues, engineering issues, or other Strong risk management of simultaneous teams and activities, mix of contracted resources and employees Deal with escalations from Technical PM and help them resolve issues without needing to escalate further Project Manager requirements: BS in an Engineering discipline, ME, EE, Chem E, Industrial, CS all acceptable PMP certified highly desired, or company/ industry equivalent (like US DOD PMP certification) 5-8 years experience installing industrial equipment, similar to sensors, controls, computer servers, networking equipment Related experience or familiarity with networks and circuits, ideally setting up routers and firewalls across high-speed connections High customer focus Experience at a program level, with dozens to hundreds of projects running simultaneously while led by other PM Excellent verbal and written English communications Competent user of Microsoft office products including use of Word and Excel Good organizational and time management skills Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and flexibly with a team Able to set priorities (proactive and self-directed) and manage workloads in order to meet deadlines
