:

• Requirement gathering and Analysis ability to understand NFRs and translate them into specific Design and Testing goals.
• Effectively capture and build a strategy to validate NFRs – Test Plan and test Strategy.
• Strong expertise in Performance Test frameworks and implementation processes
• Understand applications including the underlying architecture and technology stack to recommend appropriate strategies and ensure the system performance is within defined SLAs.
• Participate in all phases of the Performance Testing/ Engineering lifecycle Requirement Gathering, Design, Development, Scripting, Execution, Analysis, Troubleshooting, Reporting
• Provide/ Support tuning recommendations. Work with development team to test and implement recommendations.
• Co-ordinate with all stakeholders/ teams to identify performance bottlenecks across all tiers, components, layers.
• Analysis and resolution of critical and complex application issues, like crashes, hung threads, memory leaks, etc.
• Ensure test scripts and test scenarios simulate real world scenarios. Data driven script development and test execution.

Key Skills/Experience:

• 3 to 5 years in Performance Testing using JMeter/ LoadRunner.
• Experiences on Performance Engineering, profiling and tuning experience, including experience working with APM tools.
• Should have experience testing Web applications, Mobile applications and Web Services.
• Good to have API / Web services / Micro Service testing experience, working knowledge on open-source monitoring tools.
• Experience with testing on services and applications running in AWS.
• Possess knowledge in diagnosing the performance issue (RCA) using APM tools (AppDynamics, Splunk, New Relic, Dynatrace, Cloud Watch, X-Ray etc.), DB profiler, Java Profiler etc.
• Very good communication skills and team player
• Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a complex and dynamic environment.
• Ability to Multi- task, Prioritize and Manage time
• Experience in SQL queries and web services
• Be able to recommend test methodologies, approach for testing and improving application’s performance.
• Tool Experience – JMeter preferred or any other open-source tool.
