Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Analyzinginfrastructure requirementsand translating into technical concepts and specifications
DesignCI/CDprocesses in the context of aJenkinsorchestration, including the usage ofautomated build, test/QA, and deployment tools
Configurejobs and pipelines using Jenkins
Maintain infrastructure and operation of softwarerepository systems
Troubleshoot problems arising from
Build failures
Test failures
The Challenges ahead
In this role is to be awaited a close intra-departmental collaboration as well as a direct contact with Project Managers and other departments.
Desired Candidate Profile
University’s degree in information technology, computer science or similar specialization
At least 3 years of work experience as a build engineer
Expert skills inbuild system (Jenkins) configuration
Expert Knowledge about source code control(GIT, SVN beneficial)
Very good development skills in groovy, ant, python, windows batch
Advanced experience in automated testing and Test-Driven-Development
Good knowledge about Atlassian JIRA API is a plus
Preferably Know-How about UML notation and software architecture documentation
Experience with Agile Development approaches (Scrum) is of advantage
Self-reliant, solution-oriented way of working along with outstanding team and communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
Fluent in English, German language skills are beneficial
