Roles and responsibilities:
- Responsible for entire layout of electrical subsystem in battery packs.
- To prepare 2D & 3D design for HV cable/LV Wiring Harness.
- To design the HV/LV Wiring harness as par with global standards based on architecture requirements.
- Exposure towards relevant safety standards in battery deign domain.

Must be good in understanding the electro-mechanical system requirements and
translate into design. - Should have the ability to develop prototypes hands on.
- Should work with supply chain for identification of all items in electrical subsystem (wires, connectors etc.)
- Should have exposure towards benchmarking activities.
- Ownership of Value Engineering & Value Analysis Activity on battery prodcuts.
- Should contribute towards Design review, DFMEA/DVPR etc.
- To design HV/ LV Wiring harnesses meeting time, cost, quality targets on Generation 2 products.
- Establish wiring harness design practices and methodologies meeting design guideline.
Skills Required:
- Should have EV battery pack development experience (LV and HV) on atleast 2 products end to end.
- Experience in designing automotive/BESS HV cables & LV wiring harness is added advantage.
- Hand on experience working on Wiring harness design tools like Solidworks electrical, UGNX, Creo
- HV and LV Schematics.
- Interface diagrams (aggregate and system level)
- Wiring harness and HV cable child part selection.
- DFMEA, DFM, DFA and CTQ’s on Drawings.
- Harness drawings creation
- Design releases activity
Minimum Experience : 1 + Years
Qualification: Btech in Electrical or related field.
