As a billing operations specialist you will be joining the Revenue Operations team in supporting a high growth sector and fast-paced environment. This position reports to a Manager and is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, detailed oriented, person looking for a challenging growth opportunity.
Our Billing team consists of more than 30 team members in multiple countries. It handles internal sales queries, deal structure requests, invoicing for service, equipment, upfront fees, and resolving account disputes. You will be a contributing player on our team as you apply your skills in this role.
Responsibilities
Engage and support sales in their deal structure queries in accordance to Company Policies and revenue recognition standards
Enter sales orders and contract terms into the Company’s order entry systems assuring accuracy
Ensure orders are entered timely and accurately, especially at month end and quarter end
Provide thorough and timely support to Sales, Customer Care and Accounts Receivable on customer account and billing inquiries
Communicate effectively with a high degree of professionalism with both internal and external customers
Work with Revenue Accounting Manager, Revenue Ops Manager and Director of Revenue on special projects
Qualifications
Dependability: We’re looking for a professional we can rely on, so a good track record must be apparent on your resume.
Sales Support Experience: You’ll need to have sales support experience to be successful in this role as this is an internal-facing position working closely with the sales organization
At least two years of experience is preferred for this position
Previous Billing Experience: Previous billing and resolution skills experience are required
Attention to detail: This role will require someone able to book large volumes of deals under pressure. You hold a high standard for your work and enjoy processing accurately complex repetitive tasks.
Collaborative: You’ll be working in a team, so it is crucial that you not only get along with but thrive working with others sometimes located in various time zones
Fast Learner: You enjoy working with multiple IT systems and thrive in learning new complex processes
Other Tools: Prior experience with sales related booking system like Salesforce, or Quickbooks, Zendesk, Netsuite, Oracle, etc. is certainly a plus but not required
