Lokin Hiring for Accounts Manager at Bangalore Full Time

We’re a fresh, boutique, and emerging start-up with our clients based mainly in the US and Australia. Currently, we’re on the lookout for a dynamic young individual to be part of our operations in India working for our clients overseas.

This role is offered as a Managerial position and is client facing. The successful candidate will be working closely with the CFO and initially tasked with providing Accounting and Bookkeeping related duties to our client. You will also be managing the accounting team.

The role includes but is not limited to:

• Reconcile monthly bank, credit cards, and general ledger accounts; compile account analyses and work on resolving discrepancies
• Maintain and balance subsidiary/inter-company accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving differences
• Support various aspects of finance and accounting for our client.
• Day-to-day accounting functions which include Billing, General Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Financial Reporting, and assisting with workflow designs to automate and streamline accounting workflow processes.
• Perform monthly bank and GLs reconciliations
• Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures
• Preparing aging reports of accounts receivables
• Assist with other projects as needed
• Review and reconcile bank statements
• General ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, and monthly accounting closing cycle
• GL accounting reconciliation and preparation of schedules of balance sheet items
• Inter-company accounting/reconciliation
• Manage the accounting team
• Working hours to be 7 pm to 4 am (Night Shift)

Skills and Experience you’ll ideally have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is a must
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience as an Accountant
• Highly Proficient in English is a must
• Experienced and skilled in reconciliations
• Strong General Ledger and advanced Excel skills required
• Solid accounting skills and good financial acumen
• Previous accounting experience for a US company is highly desired
• Excellent Bookkeeping skills
• Experience in SAGE CRE Accounting is preferred but not required
• Experience in the Construction industry is desired but not mandatory
• Ability to work independently
• Attention to detail
• Strong work ethic “Roll up the sleeves” mentality to solve problems
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required
