The scope of the role is centred around assigned project, driving productivity improvement with excellent engineering skills. Responsibilities also include prioritizing, planning and execution of project activities with focus on quality and innovation

Principal Accountabilities (A)
Technical Management
Understands requirements
Responsible to understand and interpret the technical requirements as per the project specification
Ensures awareness of local and international standards as well as those required by the customer
Technical solution generation
Accountable to provide error free deliverables to agreed specifications, within the assigned time/effort estimated/ planned
Responsible to analyse issues/challenges in day-to-day tasks and support development of solutions/issue resolution in consultation with Line Manager
Skill development and contribution
Responsible to keep up breast of the technical skills/knowledge required for the role and shares knowledge within the team. Provides input to enhance team productivity
Responsible to contribute to presentation, demonstration to potential customers and technical papers under the guidance of a line manager
Innovation
Responsible to identify opportunities to create new solutions, optimizing existing features in area of work and consult line manager for implementing the same

Project planning and execution
Responsible to manage, maintain and monitor the assigned project task according to stipulated standards, practices and milestones
Responsible for clear communication/escalation to Line Manager where required (e.g., scope change, dependency, risks)
Project review and reporting
Accountable to participate in peer reviews as required by the company/project policy
Responsible for timely and prompt progress for reporting to line manager as per project plan
Risk identification
Ensure proper communication with customer to avoid issue escalation as and when required in consultation with line manager
Responsible to conduct RCA, manage and mitigate/triage the risks/issues in consultation with line manager
Project review and reporting
Responsible to participate in customer/internal project review meetings and note minutes of meetings

Contributes to best practices, lessons learnt and knowledge management. Assists implement them in team for productivity improvement

Windchill Infra Administrator Consultant:- 5-8 Yrs Senior Consultant :
Procure/Create and configure instances for Dev, Stage and Production Environment.Install, Configure and Deploy Windchill Components on instance(s)Experience in Infra activities: Deployment, Upgrade, Data Loading, Server Maintenance, Network and Database Administration.Checking System Health and doing Preventive Maintenance activities.Monitor and manage the server on a daily basis with no unplanned downtime, deploy service patches, upgrades and user management as per defined SLAs.Experience in Configuring and Deploying Cluster environment and Failover Mechanism.Experience in configuring SSL and other Security related activities right rom Port Monitoring and connection with various internal and external system.Experience in facilitating API and third-party integration with external systems like Active Directory, etc.Dev Ops Experience – develop script and automate Build and deployment process – would be an added advantageHave experience in both Windows and other OS like Linux, CentOS, UNIX, etc.Policy creation and rollout required for infrastructure management and access control provisioning.Experience on Inhouse Hosting as well as Cloud Service Providers like PTC Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.Experience in Migrating PLM platform from in house environment to Cloud Environment would be an added advantage.Disaster Recovery Activities: Backups and Restoration of System/Application.
