BI( Business Insurance) is one of the programming solutions departments of the client. The application handles the policy processing cycle of FIG commercial insurance business which includes.

ARS:
Combined billing system designed to skill fully streamlined billing structure for different agent channels to minimize cost & seamless user experience. Its mainframe system with DB2 as backend to store data.

Commercial Lines of Business

Automobile, Boiler and Machinery, Commercial Property, Crime, General Liability, Inland Marine, and Workers Compensation, other low volume specialty lines are also processed.

Commercial Business Packages for Selected Industries

Artisan/Contractor, Automobile Trades, Habitational, Restaurants, Real-estate, Retail and Services, and Wholesalers.

The project involves Base (defect removal) and ECP (Enhancement, compliance and project). The work is done in a two month release cycle in an onsite-offshore model.

Responsibilities

Skills

Must have

1. Around 6 + years of experience in Mainframes (COBOL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, JCL and Eazytrieve).

2. Preferably Production Support like monitoring batch cycles and fixing the Bugs

3. Experience in raising tickets/incidents and coordinating with different stakeholders like Development and Infra teams to resolve the issues based on the Production SLAs

4. Good Communication skills to run the calls by pulling all the required stake holders in the call to resolve the issues when required

5. Farmers Applications (Commercials, ARS Billing and COS – Commercial online System) Knowledge is added advantage.

6. Business Insurance Domain Knowledge

7. Defect monitoring and updating in QC(ALM)
