The Integration team at Maersk plays a vital role in connecting multiple Enterprise applications and infrastructure services to deliver Business value and agility. We are search for an Engineering Manager, who will lead the team and be responsible for architecting, developing and operating highly available, scalable & resilient services and solutions pertaining to integration of applications and third-party services, as required to meet the business needs. This role will be closely working with architects and stakeholders, and will have a major say in delivering outcomes on our modernization roadmap there by balancing the priorities between Perform (Production on-premise) and Transform (towards Cloud), thus ensuring interoperability of applications that includes –

– Off-the-shelf products in use / to be used

Collaborate with partners from Business and Technology organizations, developing key deliverables for Integration strategy such as optimisation, migration, operations, availability, upgrade path, cloud journey.
Lead a team of Engineers & actively participate in all phases of software development lifecycle, that includes data management, CI/CD build and release, post production and escalation support
Will need to ensure the team is highly engaged and motivated at all times while driving a continuous Learning & Development mindset.
Lead both production run and transformation initiatives towards best-in-class solutions leveraging modernized technologies around Cloud, microservices, SQL including latest monitoring & automation tools
Actively participate in all phases of software development lifecycle, that includes data management, CI/CD build and release, post production and escalation support
Drive and adopt Business priorities around reliability that includes infrastructure, devops, observability, automation, integrations, high-availability, fault tolerance, and full-lifecycle ownership like cost optimization and end to end Application performance.
Develop and implement strategies for migration, consolidation, and upgrade of middleware and integration components.
Expert and go-to person for guiding and mentoring teams on software engineering patterns, advocating for reuse, efficient, centralized and standard solutions for business needs
Adapt to Agile principles and drive innovation through automation and process optimization
Will have a keen eye towards consistency, completeness, interoperability and quality of solutions per Enterprise Architecture standards

Graduates / Post Graduates in any stream of IT (B.E., B. Tech. MCA)
Should have total IT experience of 10-12 years, which includes at least 5 years on application integration experience and software engineering, with hands-on experience in languages such as Java, Go, Python etc. and microservices frameworks as well as acted as a Team lead in that space.
Skilled stakeholder- and people manager with the ability to communicate complex messages, constructively challenge Product Owners and related stakeholders
Setting and leading high performing-, skilled- and impactful team & Ability guide engineers through successful agile projects in a DevOps setting, including testing and deployment
Expertise in Enterprise Application Integrations (EAI) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), preferably in as-a-Service environment
Hands-on experience on technologies like Oracle Middleware, Microservices, API gateway, Pub/Sub, Messaging, Caching, etc.
Experience with migration from Monolith to microservice technology and having built and operated API Gateways and Service Mesh
Familiarity with one or more leading Cloud-based solutions with exposure to DevOps processes and tools
Hands on Experience in analysing major incidents, system recovery, RCA s, performance tuning and implementing automated, scalable modernized solutions
Deep understanding and working knowledge of building high-availability, fault-tolerant, resilient and scalable solutions and has implemented patterns around these
