As SAP integration coordinator, you will be a key driver in building our digital core global ERP platform.
Maersk is on multi-year program to revamp its technology and digital solutions footprint and as part of new strategy, SAP will act as the ‘digital core’ for the company’s major processes enabled by SAP’s latest cloud and S4HANA offerings. Maersk has currently ECC based SAP finance solutions running for Ocean and logistics divisions and plan is to subsume these solutions within revamped green field S4HANA implementation. The SAP Enablement platform holds a central position within this landscape working to define ways of working covering the technical engineering required to build and support the end to end promotional model.
Working within the SAP Enablement Platform as part of SAP Infrastructure Operations team you will be key member in a team responsible for theon-going operations run activities and support of the infrastructure to support a complex SAP landscape hosted within Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities
Working within the SAP Enablement Platform in a highly skilled team responsible for the running of complex infrastructure landscape to host SAP S/4 HANA in Microsoft Azure. Using the latest in Azure cloud patterns the team are operating a world class SAP platform for Maersk using the latest in Zero Trust Models to deliver an evolving architecture through Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines..
You will bring your knowledge and experience of running and operating complex infrastructure, taking the best practice in Operations and Maersk’s Enterprise Architecture principles into a solution which is secure, cost effective and well managed.

• Strong experience in operating a 24×7 infrastructure across a global landscape
• Deep knowledge of Azure IaaS virtual machines, running either RHEL 7.x and 8.x or Windows Server 2019.
• Work with the engineer leads to manage technical debt and trade-off solutions to ensure quality and cost are not compromised.
• In collaboration with SAP Basis operations team to resolve cross team problems and issues.
• Good knowledge of automation frameworks in Azure DevOps with the latest tools and technologies, including Bicep, Terraform and Ansible.

As the Lead Engineering, you will be accountable for:

• Working with the Engineering Manager to ensure that the solutions are implemented

following the architectural design.

• Contributing to technical decisions and direction in a collaborative team environment,

including estimation, planning, user story/requirement creation.

• Managing the relationship between the platform architectural authority, Developers,

Engineers, Operations and Support staffs

• The adoption of DevOps/Agile as the core philosophy for cloud infrastructure

development and implementation

• Defining the foundations for cloud automation by designing and consolidating

Infrastructure-as-code practices within the engineering team

• Ensuring that the team adheres to and offers improvements to project standards and

guidelines to enable scalable and testable code development

• The mentorship and career development of the members of the engineering team

We are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field is required, targeted

professional work experience may be considered in lieu of education

• Mid-senior level relevant experience; demonstrable experience of leading engineering

teams, with solid experience in developing, integrating and managing the lifecycle of IT
infrastructures, both on-premise and in the cloud

• Experience in IT transformation programmes as lead engineer, architect or product

manager in an Agile DevOps environment

• Strong Understanding Across Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Components (Server,

Storage, Network, Data, And Applications) To Deliver End To End Cloud Infrastructure
Engagements that includes assessment and migrations.

• Knowledge of SAP Finance and logistics solutions
• Experience with orchestration technologies (ARM templates, Terraform, etc.)
• Experience with migration/consolidation of COTS solution in the cloud
• Demonstrable data migration and data cleansing experience.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills with decision
• Strong experience in cloud software technology and cloud operations
• High levels of experience in the Azure Cloud with a key focus on IaaS, networks and storage deployed through Bicep, ARM Templates or TerraForm.
• Post deployment configuration with Ansible, Bash Script or Python
• In-depth knowledge of Azure and understanding of hyper-scale clouds using cloud native technologies
• An excellent knowledge of running complex IaaS infrastructure through automation with Terraform and Ansible
• Good understanding of Azure network and infrastructure security, including Azure Firewalls, App Gateways, NSGs.
• Alternative cloud platforms such as AWS or Google cloud
• Migration experience of infrastructure from on-premises to Azure, with particular experience in Oracle or VMWare.
• Good communication skills across all levels
• Highly proficient in analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and self-starter who is results oriented with high degrees of accountability, commitment and responsibility.
