Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Should have a clear understanding of automotive gear box and its subsystem.

Should have a on hand experience of software like Romax, Kissoft etc.

Good understnding on gear& shaft design , bearing selection.

Microgeometry optimisation of gears.

Good undersatnding on gearbox design duty cycles.

Good understanding on gear manufacturing processes

Adequate knowledge in CAE analysis

Adequate Knowledge in DFMEA, DFC, DFM and DFS

Should have sufficient knowledge in detailing, tolerance stack up and GD&T

Design and drawing review

Ability to interact with development team and supplier for component development

Versatile to work with support system teams and address the integration related concern

Ability to address the manufacturing and build issues with supplier and plant team

Time Management for self & CFT for on time delivery of the project

Experience

3-6 Years

Industry Preferred

Automotive, Tractor,Gear

Qualifications

B.E. in mechanical engineering, automobile or mechatronics

General Requirements

Ablity to plan activity and do the work to align the project timeline

Flexiblity to adapt the new work and accept the changes.

Think alternativly to address to concern

Intract with internal teams and suppliers for componet Component design and development(Gears, Bearing) Romax, KIssoft Part detailing, tolerance stack up and GD&T Knowledge in DFMEA, DFC, DFM and DFS Documentation and presentation preparation for Audit
