Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

A) Responsibilities :
1) Design, Implementation of Automotive Mechanisms (Window Regulator, Door Handles, Check arm, Wiper System, Latches etc)
2) Interact with Suppliers to meet SOR (Requirements list) and DVP
3) Upgrade Benchmark Database
4) Upgrade Guidelines, DVPs, DFMEAs, SOR and related documentations
5) Concerns resolution thru DOE, Interface signoff and EN release
6) VAVE (Cost Saving)
7) CAD preparation and release in teamcentre

B) Key Deliverables :
1) Concept layout generation for Automotive Mechanisms and Master Section generation
2) Detail packaging and layout preparation
3) Design & ensure Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) requirements
4) Design & ensure Serviceability requirements
5) VAVE (Design for low cost)
6) DFMEA, IFMEA
7) Support for Validation and implementation
8) Interface signoff completion, BOM, Add-Del, ECN release
9) Support for Manufacturing and Implementation
10) Upgrade system database (Guidelines, DVPs, Master DFMEA, Master SOR etc)

Experience

2 to 6 years

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

Graduate/Post Graduate in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
