Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Ensure buying activities (scheduling, follow up, bill of material matching) of all raw materials and bought out items, IUTN parts.

2. Responsible for maintaining inventory within norms -key responsibility is to ensure timely availability of material as per plan.

3. Maintain supplier relations

4. Ensure no loss of production due to shortage of parts

5. Ensure procurement thru KANBAN, monitor and improve its effectiveness

6. Ensure timely dispatch of vendor aid material to subcontractors and timely receipts of finished materials

7. Analyzing daily/weekly shortages and plan action accordingly

8. Ensure 100% Supplier Schedule Adherence & Spare Parts schedule

9. Coordinate with Mfg, Vendor Quality assurance Strategic sourcing dept and component development (vendor development) department

10. Monitor and control targeted inventory levels

11. Frequent vendor visits to plan the monthly & yearly ramp up plan according to production.

Experience

2 -5 years of experience in Manufacturing setup in Supply Module/Chain department

Industry Preferred

Farm, Automobile or Auto Ancillary or Any other Product base OE company

Qualifications

B.E – Mechanical

General Requirements

Place of Posting : Deputation for 2 yrs at Pori, Finland.

Functional Competencies:
Capable to handle supply chain complexity

Should have hands-on experience on SAP of material module

Should be aware of inventory management

Knowledge of manufacturing processes like fastners / Plastic / Rubber / Prop parts Farm Machinery

Ability to coordinate with the supplier and QA team for quality improvement

Should be aware of capacity enhancement calculation & assessment

Ability to Prepare material requirement plan as per requirement

Should be capable to do analysis and classification of components

Should have exposure of cost calculation of Components and new vendor development process

Capable to handle project like JIT & DOL Implementation
