Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Responsibilities & Key deliverables

• Development of parts as per the APQP methodology & as per project milestone deliverables
• Manufacturing feasibility study based on drawing & supplier processes.
• Process finalization (Proto & Serial production) with supplier
• Facilities, Tools and Gauges & Poke Yoke concept design to implementation at Supplier to meet drawing requirements
• Conducting Production trial run at Supplier as per PPAP guidelines and ensure PIST, PIPC, SPC & MSA as per target norms
• Approval for Proto, Tooled and PPAP parts
• [email protected] demonstration to meet Capacity requirements for SOP
• Conducting fitment trails at Manufacturing plant
• Defect analysis with QC Story, & G8D
• Conducting assessment for New supplier and existing Suppliers for Risk evaluation, Gap Audit, System and Process sustainance
• Process Estimation for pricing of New parts
• Process synthesis to support Vendor selection
• VA/ VE proposals to reduce the cost of existing parts.
• Support Budget preparation for Part and Project
• ECN implementation as per Change management guideline
• Supplier upgradation through technical assistance to supplier including training, counselling, guiding etc.
• Preparation of MIS and DWM to report Management
• Develop synergy within / outside department & with supplier.
• Project Management
• Adherence to QMS and Mahindra Development guidelines

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience as Automobile industry on Engine commodity parts like Proprietary parts, Casting (Al & GCI), Machining, Precise Machining,Special Processes,Pipes,Rubber as a STA/SQA

Qualifications

• BE preferably in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engg from reputed College.
• Through out First Class in academics

• ISO/TS quality systems,
• Expertise in APQP / PPAP / PFMEA/ MSA / SPC / DCP / GD &T
• Expertise in Metrology in precise components
• Structured Problem solving Techniques like QC Story, G8D
• Capacity analysis skills
• Project Management skills
• Knowledge of VAVE
• Knowledge in Minitab, CAD, MS office
