Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Responsibilities :
1) Design, Engineering, Implementation of Automotive Glass (Static, Dynamic)

2) VAVE (Cost Saving)

3) Upgrade Benchmark Database

4) Upgrade Guidelines, DFMEA, SOR, DVP and related documentations

5) Interact with Suppliers to meet SOR (Requirements list)

6) Followup for DVP completion

7) Concerns resolution thru DOE, Interface signoff and EN release

Key Deliverables :
1) Concept generation for Glass and Master Section generation based on Class-A Surface

2) Detail packaging and layout preparation

3) Decide Helix angle for Glass, best fit Glass (Flat/ Cylinder/ Torus)

4) Design & ensure Manufacturability (DFMA) requirements

5) Design & ensure Assy (DFMA) requirements (Glass drop etc)

6) Design & ensure Serviceability requirements

7) VAVE (Design for low cost)

8) DFMEA, IFMEA

9) Support for Validation & implementation

10) Static & Dynamic check, Interface signoff completion, BOM, ECN release

11) Support for Manufacturing and Implementation

12) Upgrade system database (Guidelines, DVPs, Master DFMEA, Master SOR etc)

Experience

3 to 6 yrs

Qualifications

Graduate in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
