About the function

Central Marketing team takes care of marketing across multiple lines of business in MakeMyTrip and manages overall campaigns and growth charter for the organization, through extensive consumer understanding, strategic communication development and new user acquisition.

About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join as part of Central marketing team and own the strategic planning of end-to-end marketing initiatives for customer acquisition, onboarding, engagement and retention for these Lines of Business (LOBs):

• Ground Transport (Cab, Train & Bus)
• myPartner

The person will also be responsible for the Social Commerce charter for MakeMyTrip, driving business results from social collaborations.

What will you be doing?

1. Work on achieving quarterly shoppers and business targets aligned with respective LOBs.
2. Handle campaign planning and monthly communications calendar for LOBs.
3. Collaborate with the content and design teams to create compelling and relevant communication copies plus landing pages that align with LOB’s business & marketing objectives.
4. Explore opportunities across marketing channels to grow customer acquisition and business. Drive new projects and initiatives to delivery.
5. Handle growth marketing projects like Influencer Marketing & Social media campaigns.
6. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular reports to internal stakeholders.
7. Develop and execute effective marketing strategies to increase visibility, drive traffic, and achieve conversion goals.
8. Manage and optimize growth marketing projects including campaign setup, budget allocation and performance tracking.
9. Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders in LOBs.
10. Perform A/B testing and other experiments to optimize ad campaigns, landing pages, and other elements to improve conversion rates.
11. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and algorithm changes to ensure campaigns remain competitive and effective.
12. Stay informed about competitor activities and market trends, identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.

What are you required to bring to the team?

You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing cross channel marketing campaigns for Emerging Businesses to build brand awareness, drive qualified shoppers, increase conversions, and maximize ROI for assigned LOBs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends to drive continuous improvement in marketing strategies.

You are required to have strong project management skills to oversee various campaigns and initiatives throughout, ensuring timely and effective execution. The ideal candidate needs analytics experience, excels in cross-functional collaboration, drives scalable processes, Well-versed in digital marketing, CLM automations, conversion, and online customer acquisition.

Qualification & Experience:

1. Master’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
2. 2-4 years of hands-on experience in handling performance & brand marketing, marketing automations, growth marketing, etc.
3. Proficient in using Adobe Analytics, Redash and other relevant tracking tools to measure campaign performance and derive actionable insights.
4. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
