Identify weak areas related to QMS.

Guide suppliers to build robust systems based on best practices being followed in the industry to improve adherence.

Responsibility:
Improvement of weak areas and re-audit for confirmation.

Regular follow-up with vendors for timely closure of audit observations and evidences submission.

Thorough understanding & grasp of basic Quality Management Tools like PFMEA, 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, QFD, Six Sigma, SPC, MSA etc.

Ability to devise process & system flowcharts quickly.

Conceive, formulate & update Supplier Quality Management systems in line with current business requirements.

Organize & Conduct training sessions on QMS for Suppliers

Plan and coordinate with other departments for performing supplier audits for getting the necessary quality inputs for suppliers.

Develop the standards for audit and ensure grooming of sub-ordinates for the same.

Regularly compile best practices related to QMS being followed at various suppliers and OEMs.

Competency Requirement:
Technical/Functional:
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.

Lead assessor course for ISO 9001 and Internal Auditor course for IATF- 16949.

Knowledge of Quality Management Tools & Statistical techniques like SPC/ MSA/ FMEA/ PPAP/ APQP.

Awareness about the latest updates on best in class industry practices.

Educational Qualification:
