Root cause analysis and identification of countermeasures to achieve NVH target levels.

Operation, upkeep of test facility, equipment and sensors.

Responsibility:
Preparation of test engine and transmission for the NVH evaluation on test bed.

Instrumentation of engine/transmission with various sensors.

Operation of engine test bed and support in data acquisition during NVH test.

Support in the data analysis, problem solving and identification of countermeasure.

Preventive maintenance of test facility, calibration and upkeep of sensors and consumables.

Coordination with different department for the arrangement of test parts, engines, transmissions etc.

Coordination with supplier for the fabrication of jigs, adaptor etc.

Technical Competencies:
4 or more years of relevant experience in the automotive industry in engine/transmission testing domain.

Proficient understanding of Engine & Transmission systems & sub-systems (i.e crank train, valve train lubrication, gear train etc.).

Hands-on experience of assembly & disassembly of engines & transmission.

Hands-on experience of Engine set-up on test bench and instrumentation of NVH sensors.

Understanding of Test bed control software i.e. AVL Puma.

Driving skill of 4-wheeler & valid driving license.

Facility maintenance and upkeep of consumables, sensors etc.

Educational Qualification:
60% throughout. Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
