Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling, a keen eye for visuals, and technical expertise in video editing software. You will be responsible for creating engaging and high-quality video content for a variety of platforms, including YouTube, social media, and websites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into polished videos that align with the brand’s vision and goals.
• Add sound effects, music, voiceovers, and special effects to enhance video quality.
• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize video content.
• Organize and manage video files for easy access and archiving.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing and digital content.
• Optimize video content for various platforms, ensuring compliance with technical requirements.
• Create motion graphics and animations as needed.
• Revise edits based on feedback from stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Knowledge of motion graphics tools like Adobe After Effects is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their video specifications.
• Strong storytelling skills and a creative mindset.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience in creating content for YouTube or social media platforms.
• Understanding of color grading, sound design, and video compression techniques.
