Position Summary:

Manager, Product Management (Data Product Finance Support)

As a Manager, Product Management (Data Product Finance Support), you will play a pivotal role in helping product teams make informed, value-driven decisions. You will bring financial rigor and commercial insight to the development and scaling of our data products — tracking costs, identifying value delivered, and supporting prioritization through a product lens.

You will work closely with product managers, analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders to provide timely, relevant financial inputs. This includes both traditional FP&A activities such as budgeting and spend tracking, and strategic support such as building value cases and supporting trade-off decisions. The role sits within the global EDAA team and focuses on supporting internal teams rather than engaging directly with market finance functions.

Who we’re looking for:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing cost tracking and financial monitoring across multiple data products and development teams.
• Support product teams in developing value tracking frameworks that help demonstrate business impact and justify continued investment.
• Contribute to budgeting cycles, forecasting processes, and financial reporting related to product development and scaling.
• Build simple yet robust models to assess trade-offs and opportunity costs, working alongside product managers to shape prioritization decisions.
• Assist in preparing business cases, investment decks, and internal documentation to support funding decisions and product roadmaps.
• Collaborate with global finance, BI, and product teams to align metrics, assumptions, and reporting practices.
• Help build transparency and accountability by maintaining clear records of value delivered, cost drivers, and product financials.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience 6+ years in finance, business analysis, or data product-related roles.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, cost tracking, and business case modelling.
• Comfortable working in agile environments, collaborating across disciplines to support continuous delivery.
• Effective communicator with the ability to simplify financial concepts for non-financial audiences.
• Experience with JIRA and JIRA Product Discovery is essential.
• Background in BI, analytics, or tech finance is highly desirable — ideally with exposure to data product portfolios or internal platform teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Analytics or related field. Familiarity with product/tech finance frameworks is a strong advantage.
