Job Description:

We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, specializing in UAV/drone design and development. As a key member of our engineering team, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and systems for our drone products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop mechanical components and systems for UAVs/drones, including airframes, propulsion systems, and payload integration.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineering, software development, and testing.

3. Conduct simulations, analysis, and testing to validate design performance and reliability.

4. Develop and maintain design documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and technical specifications.

5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in UAV/drone design.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.

2. 4+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the UAV/drone industry.

3. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA).

4. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

5. Experience with simulation and analysis tools (e.g., FEA, CFD).

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with drone/UAV regulations and standards (e.g., DGCA, FAA).

2. Knowledge of aerodynamics and flight dynamics.

3. Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, C++).
