Mediaocean Hiring for Senior Software Engineer – Test Engineering at Pune, India Full Time

What You Will Do:

This platform will be enabled with all the major ad server and provider integrations and can serve multiple geographies/markets. We need engineers who can help us build this platform with high quality.

Tasks/Duties will include:

• Play the role of Tester in the Agile Scrum Team to deliver defect free working feature.

• Define test plans and derive scenarios, estimate them, communicate effectively to stake holders

• Comprehend upcoming product features, represent END USER and clarify doubts about user persona, usage and test data. Focus on user experience and usability too.

• Ensure Systematic Story/Feature Testing and Regression planning to have necessary and sufficient testing before we release the product feature

• Maximize the use of existing automation effectively during sprints and regressions to promote shift left and early defect discovery

• Deliver automation (API+UI) as a part of Done Definition. Respect the test pyramid while doing so.

  Who You Are:

• 4-6 Years of rich testing experience (Manual & Automation) in a Product Organization and Agile teams testing enterprise web applications/SaaS platforms.

• High analytical skills and logical reasoning abilities with good learnability

• Exposure to Programming/Scripting – EX: Exposure to Java/Jmeter/Karate/Selenium

• Clear fundamental related to software testing methodologies, tools, and processes

• Exposure to tools such as Bugzilla, Jira, Confluence to manage test artifacts

• Good command on database and can write medium complex SQL queries
