MediBuddy Looking For Specialist | HR Compliance | People & Culture at Bengaluru, Karnataka, Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely remittance of statutory dues like PF, ESI, PT, LWF, etc and ensure compliance with all applicable Indian labor and statutory laws
• Handle labor law registrations, renewals, and regulatory filings with government authorities.
• Conduct periodic HR compliance audits with the vendor to identify gaps and mitigate risks
• Maintain records of statutory compliance and internal audits, employee-related compliance matters
• Work with legal counsel to manage labor law-related disputes or non-compliance issues
• Ensure fair and legally compliant HR practices in handling employee grievances
• Prepare and submit labor law compliance reports to senior management and regulatory authorities
• Ensure HR policies, employment contracts, and handbooks are aligned with Indian labor laws
• Building the systems in compliance to ensure that there are no recurring issues
• Vendor Management to ensure the closure of the action points and work with the different internal teams to ensure accuracy in compliance
• Handle and represent in labor inspections by external authorities ensuring all records are in order and the site is compliant with labor laws
• Continuously monitor national, state, and local labor laws and ensure that all regulatory changes are implemented in the organization’s policies and practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Law, or Business Administration
• Min 5 – 7 years of experience in HR compliance, labor law compliance, or statutory compliance
• Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and government regulations
• Experience in handling audits, labor law registrations, and compliance reporting
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
