R&D Development Engineer (Java/Clojure)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Able to troubleshoot and debug microservices using distributed systems tracing, NewRelic or SumoLogic and other APMs, & log aggregating and reporting tools

• Capable of developing useful modules and shared libraries (modules, packages) to solve common problems across projects.

• Technical competency in using middleware for tracing/observability, authentication/security, and service request & response monitoring

• Understands and is able to setup and execute automated functional, load/performance and UI tests
