Requirements:

We are looking for a Administrator – Server Operations at our Pune location where you will be primarily responsible for resolution any server or storage issues. Document tools and processes. Participate and own the CIRP, Weekend maintenance, Patching & upgrade activities, On-Call. Collaborate with other infrastructure & application team for System Administrators from Windows-VMware VMware VRA/VSAN/DRS/vMotion, Windows Patching, DNS/DHCP, IIS & PowerShell/CLI. This includes staying on top of the latest technologies and understanding where they can fit into Medline’s infrastructure.

Implementation of systems involves working with the application owner of a particular server or architecture to understand the requirements, procure, and install the system(s) to meet the business requirements. This includes updating supporting documentation and monitoring systems to meet Medline’s standards.

The Administrator – Server Operations role will provide maintenance and support of all systems. This will include troubleshooting, performance monitoring, tuning and security. The Administrator – Server Operations will keep management, other team members, and customers aware of obstacles and status of changes in timely manner and uses proper judgment to determine when such communication is necessary. This person will also provide technical support to Server and Business Application Teams while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. They are also consistently able to interact professionally and work productively with all levels of Medline employees.

Required Essential Skills:

• Actual hands on experience in administration and troubleshooting HP and DELL Serves.
• Sound knowledge and hands on experience to analyze Windows event logs to perform root cause analysis for Windows Server 2012/2016, AD, Patching, DNS/DHCP/ IIS, file Print, Windows/Veritas Clustering
• Ability to troubleshoot/configuration VMware ESXi 6.5, 6.7, VMware vCenter 6.5, 6.7, VMware vSAN/DRS/vMotion & Power Shell/CLI.
• Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. As an administrator – Server Operation, you will have to provide operational and technical support to our internal customers consuming services own systems.
• Hand on experience of managing a data center environment running enterprise mission critical infrastructure. Ability to resolve problems such as infrastructure capacity, consistency and integrity of systems, understand and take action
• Operational knowledge of any monitoring tool such as SolarWinds, AppDynamics, Commvault, Zerto & Ivanti
• Migration & Replication technologies like Zerto.
  Consistently demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Maximize server performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting server problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and coordination with partners / vendors on server troubleshooting & optimization.
• Undertake Installation, configuration, diagnose and troubleshoot/fault investigations Windows- AD, DNS/DHCP, File and Print, IIS, Clustering and VMware Servers, vSAN/DRS in enterprise network environments.
• Keeping high uptime of Server, Storage & Cloud Infrastructure.
• End-to-End ownership of tickets created via Users, Alerts, accurately recording progress and escalations on ticketing systems. Impact and Severity Assessments of service failures
• Hands on experience in Patch management life cycle and tools
• Prepare and maintain Documentation, Reports (availability, trends) and provide follow up status on identified tasks Weekend maintenance & upgrade activities, On-Call. Collaborate with other infrastructure & application teams

Work Experience:

• Overall 3 to 5 years hands on experience in/on.
• Managing, monitoring & primarily diagnose/troubleshoot/configuration IT server infrastructure, application services, server alerts, events or issues.
• WSUS/SCCM/Ivanti patch management systems and process.
• HP Physical Servers, Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File & Print, IIS Server, windows clustering including Development/Test and Production Systems.
• VMware vCenter 6.5/6.7, VMware ESXi 6.5/6.7, VMware vSAN, DRS including primarily diagnose/ troubleshoot & configuration
  6 month- 1 year experience in Power-shell
• Creating documentation, SOPs
• collate and interpret data from various monitoring sources and perform log analysis
• Ability to assess faults, prioritizes & respond accordingly
• Knowledge of IT operations, responsibilities, workflow processes and procedures, ITIL framework
• Self-motivated, professional attitude and works well under pressure.
• Should be able to function independently, with limited supervision

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree or technical institute degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
• Microsoft and VMware Certification (MCSE/MCP/VCP) preferred
