Ultrasound and Echo Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound and Echo Technician to join our medical team at MedRec Hospital. The successful candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging services, including ultrasounds and echocardiograms, to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ultrasound and echocardiogram procedures on patients according to physician instructions and hospital protocols.
• Prepare patients for the procedure, explaining the process and answering any questions.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound and echo equipment, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
• Collaborate with radiologists and cardiologists to interpret the images and provide preliminary reports.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and ensure proper documentation in patient files.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed, including proper patient positioning and application of radiation safety measures.
• Keep equipment clean and well-maintained, reporting any issues or malfunctions promptly.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound and echo technologies and techniques.
• Assist in other diagnostic imaging procedures as needed.
• Provide compassionate care and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications:
• Diploma or degree in Medical Imaging Technology or a related field.
• Certification in ultrasound technology and echocardiography.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in performing ultrasounds and echocardiograms.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, particularly of the cardiovascular system.
• Proficiency in operating ultrasound and echo equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 – ₹15,000.00 per month
