Job Description

As a SharePoint consultant, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing SharePoint systems in close collaboration with Business processes, build or adjust scalable web applications, write, and modify code, debug software and training end users. You should have extensive knowledge of SharePoint and MS Office software, proficiency with front-end programming languages, and the ability to solve complex software issues.

In this job, you will:
Drive the technical solution quickly understand requirements of our inhouse legal team and design the solution together with Business and IT stakeholders
Demonstrate a clear understanding of the existing solution and be a key technical knowledge partner to design, implement and provide support towards our inhouse legal department
Be the advisor showcasing expert knowledge of applications in fit-gap design/solution workshops and meetings, managing Application changes and enhancements as the SME in Legal processes
Collaborate with Legal applications Service delivery manager, project delivery managers and project leaders, AMS/Shared Services/support teams to resolve product/config related issues with service requests requiring Concur cloud support (customizations, config)
Maintain Merck Deployment playbook and lead localization/functional configuration and cutover for each implementation cluster
Gain visibility and knowledge of new product enhancements and roadmap in order to drive sustainable solution design and value realization
Collaborates with Application testers or key users to ensure quality assurance
Deliver state of the art Functional specifications or configuration documents
Who You Are:
Bachelor/masters degree in IT, computer sciences or business with additional qualifications in technology.
6-8 years of experience in project solutions delivery and SharePoint development. Should have minimum 4 years experience in integration with other Applications.
Excellent knowledge of implementation methodologies (e.g. Agile, SCRUM, Kanban) and should have in-depth functional knowledge in JIRA and Azure DevOps.
Configuring the company SharePoint systems to specified requirements.
Developing new web components using XML, .NET, SQL, and C#.
Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks.
Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services.
Ability to solve complex software issues and understand user requirement.
MOSS or WSS certification is preferred.
Designing, coding, and implementing scalable applications.
Troubleshooting software issues, Code review, Testing and debugging code.
Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies.
Reviewing website interface and software stability.
Maintaining and updating SharePoint applications.
Providing systems training to end users and stakeholders.
Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams, to work collaboratively with employees within department and across functions
Should be flexible in working in CET Timezone.
German language is an asset.
