📌 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform molecular diagnostic tests including PCR, RT-PCR, qPCR, and DNA/RNA extraction from clinical samples.
• Prepare reagents, maintain instruments, and ensure proper sample processing & documentation.
• Interpret and record RT-PCR results accurately, following SOPs & QA protocols.
• Maintain ISO 13485 documentation standards (calibration, IQC, EQA).
• Assist in validation & verification of new assays/instruments.
• Ensure biosafety and aseptic practices in lab operations.
• Manage inventory of reagents, kits, and consumables.
• Report results to senior pathologists/clinicians promptly.
• Participate in training, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

🎓 Qualifications:

• M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Microbiology / Biochemistry or equivalent.
• 1–4 years of hands-on molecular diagnostics lab experience (R&D or NABL-accredited lab preferred).
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 standards & documentation.
• Experience with RT-PCR, DNA/RNA isolation, gel electrophoresis, POCT-based NAAT tests.
• Strong awareness of lab safety & biosafety standards.
