We are looking for talented Azure PaaS professionals. You’ll be working across the full project lifecycle using the latest technologies in the Azure Data Platform, working on requirements’ gathering, design, development, implementation and initial support. Job Dimensions

• Develop various different proto-types and designs to support business development
• Business impact/savings/efficiencies are well documented and signed off by the client/stakeholder

• Would have direct reports and would be responsible for their development and performance management

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and develop new solutions on the Azure Platform specifically for Azure SQL Data Warehouse/DB, Azure Data Factory, Analysis Services, Azure Synapse, Storage, Logic Apps, PowerBI, HDInsight, Power Apps, Flow and DevOps for source control & release
• Analyse current BI requirements with relevant stakeholders, including security team and application team
• Prepare plans to address non-functional requirements, including security, AD, integration, performance, scalability, and data federation in a hybrid cloud architecture
• Prepare relevant prototypes for specific Azure services, including Visualisation
• Work and support projects using Agile methodology using JIRA & Confluence
• Ability to mentor team members and provide technical leadership to project team(s) to perform design to deployment related activities, provide guidance, perform reviews, prevent and resolve technical issues
• Enhance existing applications by analysing business objectives, identifying areas for modification and improvement
• Interact and communicate effectively with all levels of staff, senior management and clients/stakeholders

General Responsibilities

• Develop Azure Data and BI skills within the team through knowledge sharing sessions, articles, etc.
• Adherence to organisations Risk & Controls requirements
• Participate in various initiatives/forums/groups and contribute effectively from idea creation to proto-type development. Support Strategic programs

Qualification

• Graduate/Post-graduate. Preferably with specialisation in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering or related discipline
• Microsoft Azure certification (good to have)

Experience

• Overall 6-9 years of experience in Data warehousing/BI projects

Required Competence / Knowledge / Skills (Mandatory)

• 3+ years of in-depth technical knowledge/expertise in the following Azure services; Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Data Warehouse/DB, Azure Data Factory, Analysis Services, Azure Synapse, Logic Apps, Flow with DAX, Storage, Power BI (Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service) and HDInsight
• 2+ years of experience in successfully leading the team and delivering end to end BI solutions, whilst front ending with stakeholders
• Experience on at least 2 to 3 end-to-end BI / DW development lifecycles
• Should be able to create ETL jobs using ADF data movement activities
• Good experience for orchestrating ETL/data migration to cloud using on premise and/or cloud data sources
• Prior experience in the design, configuration, administration and deployment of the SQL Server Database engine
• Experience on Data Modelling
• Strong working knowledge on SQL Server 2014/2016
• Expertise in T-SQL, Stored Procedure development, Performance Optimization
• Ability to take Complete ownership of building Azure solutions from requirements to rollouts
• Ability to translate the business requirements to Functional/technical Specs
• Experience on UNIX/Shell Scripting & SQL.
• Experience with various SDLC methodologies (e.g. Agile, waterfall, etc.)
• Exposure to LogicApps, Python, Office 365 (Power App)

Good to have Competence / Knowledge / Skills (Desired)

• Working experience/knowledge in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, Trifacta, Office 365 Apps
• Knowledge and experience in BFSI/Insurance domain
• Knowledge and exposure to Regulatory processes like Information Security, Data Protection, etc.
• Onshore/Client site working experience
