Job Description

Marketing leadership role for India & Africa for a leading publishing house.

The incumbent would report into the Marketing head and be responsible towards:

• Lead the strategic development of digital marketing activities, partnering with other senior leaders across the organization to develop and deliver an impactful regional marketing strategy
• Lead a team of Omni-channel Marketeers to create valuable, engaging, relevant and consistent content to attract and acquire a clearly defined audience
• Define and oversee the delivery of, and reporting on, the departmental/functional talent development strategy, including workforce planning, career development and succession planning
• Lead the delivery of initiatives that grow capability and skills in their area
• Lead, performance manage and develop direct reports, fostering a culture of high-level digital marketing performance, motivation, quality, efficiency, and innovation in the team helping to encourage new ideas and constructive feedback
• Lead the Senior Management team, ensuring objectives are clear and team are supported and incentivised to achieve goals
• Use insight gained from data analysis of marketing campaigns to inform proposals, decisions, and recommendations for action or change to senior leadership
• Fully accountable for managing own learning, taking responsibility to identify and develop skills gaps

The right candidate should have:

1. 12+ years of experience from the publishing/information industry

2. Marketing experience with a digital exposure

3. MBA from an institute of repute

They are on the lookout for the Regional Marketing Director for their Indian and Sub-Saharan African market.
