We are currently looking to add a Principal Engineer to our Mixed-Signal Linear Business Unit (MSLD). The individual we seek will join our product development team composed of highly talented engineers responsible for designing Analog and Mixed Signal devices for customers in the industrial, aerospace, automotive business segments. As a Principle Engineer, you will play a key role in the design of mixed-signal System on Chip products with embedded cores. You will work closely with other team members in Analog Design, Digital Design, Systems, Applications and Production. As a member of the firmware development team, you will be involved in the design and implementation of firmware for the latest generation of sensor chips..

Job Requirements

This position requires the following knowledge and experience.

• Experience with Automotive industry and MISRA-C standard.
• Experience with Cadence environment for simulation.

• Experience with GUI based windows application development.
• Knowledge on at least one scripting languages: PERL, Python, Linux shells
• Familiarity with Linux environment
• Object-Oriented concepts

• 5 years or more firmware development experience (BS degree in Computer Engineering is preferred).
• Strong C-programming skills and product development experience.

• Ability to read and write Assembly instructions.
• Strong background in Software methodology and full-cycle development (design, implementation, testing, and debugging)
• Must possess the ability to approach problems systematically.
• Must be able to interpret specification and standard documents well.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Big plus:

• Experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog.
