JR4950 Business Analyst- EHS

Job Description:

As an IT Business Analyst, you will be part of an Agile project team utilizing the Agile / Scrum methodologies, working in a fast-paced, iterative environment, closely partnered with business stakeholders.  You will work to apply subject knowledge to design & improve new or existing systems, create documentation and testing/training scenarios and will evaluate processes for alignment opportunities.  You will participate in new functionality analysis, design and testing and define application requirements by working closely with key stakeholders and other senior members of the project teams. 

As a project team member, you will support the entire project lifecycle from initial project definition to project implementation (including testing and training) through to project closure. You will identify, recommend, and drive process improvements; and serve as a consultant on these processes and systems for partners and customers.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

·Work under guidance of senior EHS team members to deliver IT solutioning for business requirements

·Participate in meetings with business to understand EHS capability needs

·Provide functional and process guidance on system capabilities and solution approaches aligning with industry best practices

Learning the technology platforms continuously and map business to-be solution with the adopted platform. Support system configuration, processes mapping, testing and deployment with the adopted tool

·Work along with Senior members to deliver large scale, high-value projects by leveraging an established delivery methodology

·Work within cross-functional teams (Operations areas, other SCRUM teams, PMO, developers)

·Leverage metrics and performance data to understand opportunities for improvement

Qualifications and Experience:

Should have done at least one EHSM Implementation/support on Incident management, Risk assessment, Emission Management, Permit to Work and Management of Change.
Knowledge on Substance Volume tracking, Product Safety, GHS regulations, SDS Authoring.
Should know how to write Functional specifications, Knowledge on EHS Tables, understand technical points.
Preferred knowledge in handling hazardous chemicals, emissions, and their effects, Waste management.
Strong systems thinking and problem-solving capability
Capability to build strong rapport with customer groups
Experience in collaborating with team members to drive results
Ability to facilitate and drive decisions and clarification
Ability to work independently with short deadlines
Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
Self-motivated and outcome oriented.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Environmental Science or any other related branch of study with Environmental, Health and Safety
Experience of 1-2 years within the EHS domain
1-2 years of experience as SAP EHS functional consultant
