Microsoft Looking For Sr. Communications Manager at Gurgaon, Haryana, Full Time

The Corporate Communications Manager will be responsible for setting the strategy toLead the content and engagement for External speaking opportunities for Area VP and build and manage an end-to-end Communications plan including internal & external presence and branding for Area CVP

You will need to be able to span across the entire company, managing and owning breaking reputational issues and opportunities but also driving proactive, high-profile, and agenda-setting results too. This will involve working closely with multiple internal stakeholders across legal and government affairs, Microsoft Research, Microsoft India Development Centre, the India Senior Leadership Team and many more. You will be closely involved in executive travel to India by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and other senior executives.

Responsibilities

Communications Plan & Execution

Build and manage an end-to-end Communications plan including internal & external presence and branding for Area CVP

• All Hands
• Internal employee communications
• Social Profile & branding for AVP
• Communication for strategic programs like managers day
• Internal branding for AVP

Lead the content and engagement for External speaking opportunities for Area VP

• MSFT events
• Externalthird partyevents
• Industry panels
• Media engagement

Act as a leader and trusted advisor within Microsoft by advancing and protecting the corporate image and reputation by identifying opportunities to positively shift the perception of the Microsoft brand, and correct inaccuracies when they occur.  

You will have a deep understanding of India, its culture, its political economic and media environment, and the local relevance for Microsoft’s business.

You will have the ability, experience, and the credibility to counsel senior executives, up to and including the CEO but also the attentiveness and emotional intelligence to work well with anyone in the business.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications  

Bachelor’s Degree AND 10+ years’ communications experience either in-house or agency.
