Job Description
In the role of Purchasing Coordinator you will play a vital role in Miles Technologies, purchasing hardware and software for our company and our customers, plus a lot more.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a cutting-edge provider of technology services.
In this role you will have the opportunity to utilize your existing set of skills, and you will learn valuable new business skills. You will regularly engage with our customers, vendors and fellow team members. We are looking for candidates who possess strong computer skills, organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask. This is a key role In support of Miles Technologies’ continuing to be a leader in business technology services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
All duties related to purchasing transactions, both from customers and Miles Technologies
Maintain purchasing data and documentation in accordance with internal procedures
Work on purchase requests as they come in and respond to inquiries as they arise
Communicate in a timely manner to internal team members, customers, vendors, and suppliers
General administrative support and any other duties to support the Purchasing Team
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong organizational, computer and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Google and Microsoft applications
Specifically Docs/Word, Sheets/Excel, Slides/PowerPoint, and Gmail/Outlook
CRM or ERP Software a plus
Familiarity with accounting software like Quickbooks
This position requires candidates to report to our Lumberton, NJ headquarters. You must live no greater than a 45-minute commute.
