Milling Machine Operator – Baidyabāti – Amic Forging Ltd Full Time

Description

Job Responsibilities:
Operate milling machines (horizontal or vertical) for shaping, slotting, drilling, and finishing metal components.

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to understand job requirements.

Set up workpieces, tools, and machine parameters accurately for each job.

Adjust cutting tools, feed rates, and machine speed according to material and design specs.

Perform quality checks using measuring tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

Maintain tolerance and surface finish as per the job specification.

Conduct basic machine maintenance, such as oiling, cleaning, and checking tool wear.

Record daily production data and report any machine or quality issues.

Ensure adherence to safety practices and use of PPE (safety gloves, glasses, shoes, etc.).

Collaborate with the production and quality team to meet daily output targets.

Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in any of the above machines.

Should be ready for 12-hour shift.

Immediate joiners preferred.
