Job Description

• Strong knowledge in Azure AWS Cloud environments. Administration and periodic maintenance of multiple big data clusters set-up in AWS Azure cloud environments and expertise with data integration and scheduling tools preferably Cloudera Manager
• Hands on experience in setting up secure virtual networks, LB, auto-scaling etc.
• Hands on experience in performing reliability, availability, scalability, operations automation, and infrastructure optimization operations
• Strong trouble shooting skills and RCA analysis Good Knowledge on NoSQL and RDBMS environments Develop scripts and tools to automate common DB administration tasks Develop and maintain operational best practices for smooth operation of large DB environment
• Hands on Experience in optimization, capacity planning & architecture of a large multi-tenant cluster
• Experience in tuning long running quires in DB environments
• Hands on expertise in systems administration, Linux tools, configuration management on large-scale environment.
• Good knowledge of Linux Unix operating system, command set and basic shell scripting.
• Expertise with one or more of the following languages: Python, Scala, Java, Ruby and in Shell scripting Hands on experience on NO SQL (Mongo DB) Good understanding on database design and implementation
• Strong experience with SQL failover clustering and High Availability replicas
• Experience with query optimization Good experience in establishing and maintaining sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.
• Goo d understanding on DevOps development concepts Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
• Database tuning and performance monitoring. Hands on experience with PostgreSQL
• Strong experience with procedures, tuning database performances, monitoring, replication, log shipping, database mirroring, HADR and database security.
