FIELD SERVICES MANAGER
JOB SCOPE
The primary role is to supervise the field service technician group and their deployment on service projects. Field Service Manager responsibilities will be to supervise and manage the field engineering personnel and the workload, overtime and overall demand on labor resource planning. Project management responsibilities will be to manage the parts and labor resources needed from initial site visit through final installation, start-up and commissioning. Position will require field based and office based work and requires travel.
Working days : 6 days a week, 2 days off per month and 10 national holidays per year.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
# Overall responsibility for the Service Operations function throughout In dia.
# Supervise installation and replacements of gateways, sensors, SIMs and other IOT equipment
# Takes overall responsibility for ensuring that processes and systems are implemented and service projects on time and within budget.
# Collaborate wi th execution team on annual Plan with accurate monthly, quarterly and annual goals.
# Supervise, manage and responsible for coaching and training of field engineers & technicians
# Manage work allocation, overtime and overall demand on field resource planning
# Monitor cost, billing and other expense items
# Work with procurement to prepare equipment PO#s, installation and parts lists, as well as to coordinate shipment and installation to customer site.
# Ensures that suitable processes are in p lace to achieve availability of tools, equipment, and materials required while maintaining and controlling inventory levels.
# Monitor and enforce scope as well as manage customer expectations
# Manage documentation, inspection sign-off, customer sig n-off, and monitor final invoicing preparation
Job Qualifications
# Minimum of 2-4 years of field service management experience required. 8-10 years overall experience
# Must have strong technical ability on gateway programming, troubleshooting, wiri ng, sensor selection and communication protocols
# Individual should be able to interact and develop relationships with the customers and management.
# Excellent verbal and written communication skills
# Fluent in use of MS-Office products, especial.
