Job Summary:

As an Urban Planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing plans and policies to shape the growth and development of company projects. You will work closely with Management, Government departments, Consultants, and other stakeholders to address various urban challenges and create sustainable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environments. In addition to your planning responsibilities, you will be proficient in using PowerPoint to create engaging and informative presentations to communicate your ideas, proposals, and research findings effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and Analysis, Plan Development, Stakeholder Engagement, Land Use and Zoning, and Environmental Sustainability: Integrate environmental sustainability principles into urban planning projects, such as green infrastructure, renewable energy, and sustainable building practices.

Data Visualization: Utilize PowerPoint to create visually appealing presentations, infographics, and maps that effectively communicate complex urban planning concepts to diverse audiences.

Public Presentations: Deliver compelling PowerPoint presentations to stakeholders, and consultants, explaining urban planning proposals and soliciting feedback.

Policy Recommendations: Provide evidence-based policy recommendations to local authorities and decision-makers to support sustainable and equitable urban development.

Qualifications and Skills:

Master’s degree in Urban Planning or a related field.

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Proficiency in using PowerPoint and other presentation tools.

Knowledge of urban planning principles, policies, and best practices.

Familiarity with GIS software and urban planning software is a plus.

Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Understanding of environmental sustainability and resilience concepts.

Project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
