Global Markets Group is the offshoring arm of Morgan Stanley’s Sales & Trading businesses in India. It covers functions across IED and Fixed Income Division (FID) ranging from those associated with sales, trading, analytics, strats to risk management.
Primary Responsibilities
The Futures Content team is responsible for creating differentiated and value-added content and analyses around cross-asset futures markets, and engaging with institutional clients to drive Listed Derivatives revenues. We develop frameworks, rooted in a fundamental understanding of futures markets, to identify trading opportunities based on positioning, liquidity, and costs.
Responsibilities for this role would involve:
Running VBA macros that pull in the latest data inputs, refresh calculations & generate positioning & liquidity reports
Update the output (usually charts or tables)
Troubleshoot the data error on VBA/ macros
Ability to work in jupyter notebooks
Working knowledge of Bloomberg & Qlikview
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills required (essential)
1-2 years of relevant working experience on excel, VBA & Python
Engineering Degree from Tier 2 institutes
Mandatory knowledge of programming languages such as VBA and Python to work with financial data
Strong inter-personal / communication skills.
Strong attention to detail
Drive and desire to work in an intense team-oriented environment.
