Morgan Stanley Hiring for Associate – Global Operations Regulatory Reporting at Bengaluru, India Full Time

Primary Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to undertake the following responsibilities:

1. Tracking and monitoring the key risk indicators related to regulatory reports as per the Regulatory Reporting Policy and Procedures and follow up on delinquents
2. Work with senior management to support a Global Operations Regulatory Reporting Control Framework and reporting to relevant regional governance forums
3. Prepare the Regional and Global Governance Steerco Metrics packs and review with the senior management, tracking and follow up on action items
4. Interact with global stakeholders on implementing new ideas of capturing and tracking key risk metrics and manage the stakeholder’s expectations in delivering accurate and timely reports
5. The successful candidate must work closely with senior members of the team as well as other stakeholders across the Firm
6. Participate in various system enhancements and automation for the tools used in the function by contributing to test script writing, testing, post-production release testing etc. as per Agile Methodology

Skills required (essential)

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes
Bachelor’s Degree or similar
Five plus (5 ) years of experience in Financial Services/Banking industry with excellent understanding of —
Operations Risk with a Strong Risk mindset, Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
Any experience in Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting such as MiFID, Disclosure of Interest, ESMA, FINRA etc.
Risk Metrics such as Incident Reporting, KRI and KPI Reporting to senior management
Experience in Software Development Life Cycle in Agile Methodology is an added advantage
Excellent ability to analyse and assess existing processes in identifying actions required to comply
Excellent communication skills including ability to write documents for presentation to senior management
High proficiency in articulating, ability to interact and influence effectively at all levels of the organization (especially the senior management – VPs, EDs and MDs) to present views and gain consensus amongst them
Strong attention to detail and quality delivery
Ability to work within tight delivery timeframes and meanwhile multi-tasked
Ability to partner with colleagues across functions and lead effectively across geographical boundaries
Strong experience with MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Visio and Access)
Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks
Shift Timing — Primarily 11am to 9pm IST may change slightly due to business requirements
