The Security Settlements Control team interacts across all Operations teams in order to maximise trade settlement whilst minimising financial, franchise and regulatory risk to the Firm and Firm Clients. This role is critical within the EMEA Security Settlements Control team in Glasgow and for providing support and oversight of the Vendor teams in Chennai and Nagpur. This involves managing market settlement risk, client money exceptions and settlement break processes on a daily basis to prevent financial penalties being incurred by the Firm or Clients.
The role is critical to minimise the cost of secured fails in light of new fees and buy in costs associated with CSDR for Fixed Income Products.
