Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for Morgan Stanley supporting all business applications and end users. ETS provides capabilities for all stages of Morgan Stanley’s software development lifecycle, enabling productive coding, functional and integration testing, application releases, and ongoing monitoring and support for over 3,000 production applications. Job Profile
As a Technical Team Lead (Vice President), a successful candidate will manage a local team of 3-4 developers responsible for design, engineering, development, and deployment of a Windows desktop and server automated integration testing platform. Products are developed across various languages, including C#, HTML5, Angular, TypeScript, PowerShell, using SQL Server backends and System Center Orchestrator as a workflow engine.
A successful candidate will also be responsible for hands-on development of business critical features, and will be expected to lead the design process focusing on architectural changes, stability and performance improvements, and user experience tweaks.
The role also includes people management, with special focus on talent development and personal growth.
Skill Set
• Hands-on experience with C#, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, SQL Server, JavaScript frameworks (Angular)
• Hands-on experience with web services, APIs, and REST
• Hands-on experience with distributed, large scale, highly available systems
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration systems (Jenkins)
• Hands-on experience with SDLC, Agile, TDD, and various levels of automated testing
PowerShell knowledge
• Knowledge of design patters and anti-patterns
Preferred Technical Skills but not required
• Active Directory and LDAP knowledge
• System Center Orchestrator knowledge
• .Net Core / ASP.Net Core

• Responsible for project estimates, task management & balancing prioritization across multiple streams of development for applications owned by the team.
• Promote standardization of SDLC process including use of Agile methodologies, Task Management, Design & Coding Standards, Test Driven Development, Continuous Build & Delivery, and consistent dev processes.
• Reduce the effort of Production Support done by Development team with dedicated focus on product quality and user experience, reduction of technical debt, and decommissioning of legacy products.
• Responsible for people management, mentoring and career development process for the team including delivering performance reviews, training, and recruiting.
Qualifications/Criterion
• Bachelor’s Degree in CS or related fields
• 10 years of overall experience
