Responsibilities Include:

• Sound understanding of financial markets, products and operational processes pertaining to listed derivatives & OTC. A proven record of accomplishment of learning new products and understanding business concepts is required.
• Will be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external client relationships with key stakeholders such as Sales and Trading, Risk and Institutional Clients.
• An important part of the role will also be managing a team(s) of people who are responsible for controlling of exchange & clearing trading fee related expenses on a day to day basis. This will include managing and developing your team to achieve the department and Firm goals.
• The team will handle high value and complex transactions throughout the day. One of the key focuses of the role will be to proactively explore solutions to close control gaps and ensure adherence to existing control framework; regular review and understanding of procedures, checklists and reports to ensure they are accurate and current
• Ensure the completion and delivery of all business unit and client requirements associated with timely updates of Fee and commission schedules and related queries.
• Interaction with Exchange & CCP contacts to resolve issues / raise queries
• Carry out bi-weekly 1-1 meetings, manage the TDP process/Goal Setting / Career path mapping / mid-year review process / year end evaluations.
• Manage and take Department / Firm goals forward (build-out business plans & track progress)
• Help with the recruitment of staff (departmental/ operations)
• Review internal metrics (provide monthly narrative) and maintain consistent high performance
• Look for client/ business operational efficiencies and commercial opportunities
• Partner closely with Technology, Risk and Change Management teams
