Department Profile Global Banking Technology (GBT) is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firms WM Technology Division. We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the Private Banking Group (PBG), one of the strategic growth areas of the Firm, providing cash management and lending products and services to our WM clients. GBT offers technology solutions for banks Investment Portfolio, a multi-billion fixed income trading desk dealing across multitude of asset classes. The right candidate has (Responsibilities)

The candidate will be scrum master for loan pricing squad. The pricing squad’s mission is to develop tools for loan pricing team to publish client rates and to analyze the loan economics for a given rate. The ideal candidate embodies the firms? core values, is team oriented, collaborates, and leads with excellence and innovation. The candidate brings knowledge of Agile principles and ceremonies, experiences in collaboration across complex organizations, removing impediments, and ensuring team progress towards their missions and deliverables.

• Serve as Scrum Master leading Agile teams focusing on projects for GBT Home Loans. Oversee project development and ensure effective completion and delivery.

• Work closely with Product Owners, other Scrum Masters and BAs to progress along squad agenda.

• Promote Agile culture, values, behaviors, and principles across business, development and testing organizations.

• Create a collaborative team environment; partner with Agile Coach to provide constructive feedback for continuous agile improvements.

• Plan and conduct Agile meetings/ceremonies Sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand up, test plan and test cases reviews, sprint demos, retrospectives etc.

• Review and manage backlog and in-progress items to ensure the latest work status is captured and updated as appropriate.

• Maintain team metrics and report project statuses on a regular basis to Product Owner, and to project

QUALIFICATIONS
Primary skills

* 7+ years of experience in a large complex banking organization or a similar organization (e.g. major consulting organization).

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.

• Skilled in Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

• Ability to understand system flows, interface details and system infrastructure.

• Excellent relationship management, communication, teamwork, and influence skills; ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communications.

• Ability to develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents; including identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path.

• Ability to Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to improve Agile performance.

• Ability to review and manage backlog items to ensure the latest work status is captured and updated as appropriate.

• Experience in creating a collaborative team environment and provide constructive feedback in order to drive Agile maturity.

• Ability to proactively manage change in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency.

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

• Detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Strong familiarity with Agile project management software/tools (e.g., JIRA, etc.).

• Proficient with Jira, MS Office applications: Excel, MS Project, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.

* PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
