The Investment Banking and Global Capital Markets Technology groups is a highly innovative team of full time employees based in NY, LN, Mumbai, Bengaluru and a consultant team based in Pune & Bengaluru. The team supports some of the time critical and revenue generating applications for investment banking business which is rapidly renovated and expanded while still being nimble & agile to cater various business needs. The ideal candidate will have to work closely with Product Owner, Development & QA engineers to deliver timely and quality deliveries. The candidate should be adaptive to a continuous changing and fast paced environment, be able to successfully multi-task, and thrive in a dynamic, fully engaged lead developer role.

Primary Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Lead Java Developer who can play the role of scrum master under servant-leader model and co-lead the India wide chapter. He/she should be self-driven and should be able to guide the squad, product owner and stakeholders through an efficient system design while adopting DevOps and automation for a high quality and timely delivery of medium-to-large-scale, distributed applications. He/she could have some knowledge on industry leading products MongoDB, Kafka, public cloud, DevOps pipelines and could suggest and apply in the modules when deemed necessary. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player and is likely to have significant experience in application development, a strong technical background and good communication skills. He/she will interact directly with the product owner and with other technologists across the firm.

Skill Set
Skills required (essential):
o Excellent working knowledge of the following technologies: Java, Databases, Middleware (Soap/Xml/Messaging/RESTful services).
o Familiarity with MQ, Autosys, Hibernate, Spring
o Sound understanding of Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming, familiarity with Design Patterns.
o Hands on experience with multithreaded systems.
o Experience of Agile development practices.
o Experience on adoption of DevOps tooling and pipeline
o Exposure to working in a global delivery team.
o Comfortable with direct interaction with the business users at all levels.

Skills desired (optional):
o Prior experience in investment banking
