We have an opening of EDS Engineer role in a renowned OEM Company.
Position / Grade AM
Role -E & E / EDS System Engineer
Exp-3-5yrs in OEM Automotive company.
Exp-3-5yrs in OEM Automotive company.
Should design wiring-schematics on Zuken E3, and CAD routing on UGNX design harness
SUMMARY OF JOB
; Responsibilities
Candidate will be responsible to handle a project without much supervision.
- Electrical Distribution System (EDS), Schematics, Wiring Harness Design and Development.
- Responsible for defining the specifications for E&E components/Hardware (ECUs/Displays) required for the corresponding machine.
- In-Depth Knowledge of CAN / J1939 Protocol.
- E&E Part Selection.
- E&E Architecture definition & development, CAN J1939
Architecture definition.
- Software Requirement Documents preparation
- Ownership of Critical E&E components e.g. MCBs/Terminal Block/Leakage current protections/Fuse Blocks/DIN
Rail/Control Panels/Controllers/Wiring Harnesses/UPS/Battery/Relays etc
- Should design wiring-schematics on Zuken E3, and CAD routing on UGNX design harness coordinate with supplier for component availability and manufacturing feasibility.
- Should know the wiring standard, selecting fuse and type
characteristic of the component.
- Conduct basic testing validation & Troubleshooting of all electrical components like Performance test, sensor test, temperature rise test, bending radius test etc.
- Interpret the test or analysis data, determine data quality and apply predefined applications to process raw data sets.
- Develop and implement plans to design, develop, qualify,
and introduce new products as part of new product development programs.
- Ownership for System DFMEA, Risk-Assessments, DVPSOR Support
- Responsible for Technical reviews and Design Compliance approvals.
